Project Title: Methodology for Applying Environmental Sustainability in Metal Processing Operations
Project Summary: On 16 May 2025, Dekor d.o.o. signed a Grant Agreement with the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development and the Croatian Agency for SMEs, Innovation and Investments (HAMAG-BICRO) for the implementation of the project entitled “Methodology for Applying Environmental Sustainability in Metal Processing Operations.”, Grant Agreement Reference No. NPOO.C1.1.1.R4-I1.02.0154. The project is co-financed through the Recovery and Resilience Facility under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP).
The overall objective of this project is to create the necessary conditions for a successful transition to an energy- and resource-efficient economy through the planned investments. Investments in a photovoltaic power plant, a metal surface treatment production line, and a compressor will reduce electricity consumption and carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions while significantly increasing the use of renewable energy sources. In addition, the efficiency of material resource utilization, particularly primary raw materials, will be substantially improved, resulting in lower resource consumption per unit of production.
Expected Project Results:
- Increased use of renewable energy through the installation of a photovoltaic power plant.
- High levels of energy and resource efficiency through the procurement of new equipment.
- Strengthened competitiveness in both domestic and international markets.
- Fulfilment of all environmental objectives of the EU Taxonomy.
- Creation of new jobs.
